Indiana Department of Health's healthcare associated infections and antimicrobial resistance team hosts a webinar series to provide relevant information related to HAI and AR organisms and to promote collaboration between federal, state, and local public health professionals and long-term care facility infection prevention teams. The webinar, which existed previously under another title, rebooted September 28, 2021 and will be held bi-monthly. Topics will typically include updates regarding healthcare associated infections (HAIs), antimicrobial resistance (AR), Candida auris (CA), and antimicrobial stewardship (AS), but other groups from IDOH will guest present on additional topics. The webinar is designed to inform the hospital infection prevention team with relevant information and strategies to improve patient safety.
