Dr. Emily Fitz, MD, FACEP, has over a decade of clinical experience as an emergency physician. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Missouri, then subsequently completed both her emergency medicine residency and disaster medicine fellowship at Indiana University. She has practiced in multiple states, has extensive experience in rural medicine, and has served as an EMS medical director. She has been active in advocating for Hoosier patients as the former president of INACEP and as a former member of the Trauma Care Commission. Dr. Fitz maintains her clinical work at Eskenazi Health. She and her husband and six children.
