Indiana Breast and Cervical Cancer Program

The Indiana Breast and Cervical Cancer Program provides breast and cervical cancer screening and diagnostic testing for underserved and underinsured women who qualify for services.

Must be:

  • Indiana resident
  • Uninsured or underinsured
  • Insured with unmet deductible
  • 30 - 49 years of age (for office visit, clinical breast exam, and Pap smear)
  • 50 - 64 years of age (for office visit, clinical breast exam, Pap smear, and mammogram)
  • 65 years of age and older if not enrolled in Medicare Part B
  • At or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (see income guidelines in table below)

Option 3 Treatment Program

In the event of a breast or cervical cancer diagnosis, a woman may be eligible for the Option 3 Treatment Program. This program allows women to apply for Indiana Medicaid (MA-12) and provides full healthcare coverage for eligible women. MA-12 remains active during cancer treatment and terminates at its conclusion or when patient becomes eligible for Medicare.

Must be:

  • Indiana resident
  • Uninsured or underinsured (cancer treatment not covered)
  • Not enrolled in Medicare
  • 18-64 years old
  • At or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (see guidelines below)
