2021 Regional Talent Development Summit
Welding Certification Program
WorkOne Southern Indiana will be partnering with Ivy Tech Community
College and Prosser Career Education Center to offer a Welding with
American Welding Society Certification program open to the public. This
80-hour welding program prepares the student for certification in Shielded
Metal Arc, Gas Metal Arc, or Gas Tungsten Arc. Classes begin on
November 4, 2020 and class sizes are limited. Training is free of cost
for eligible participants.
Certified Addiction Peer Recover Coach Training
WorkOne Southern Indiana is currently seeking candidates to enroll
in upcoming Community Impact Initiative trainings offered by
Mental Health of America Indiana and their network of training partners.
If you meet the program eligibility requirements and are accepted into
the program you will receive training at no cost that will prepare
you to earn your Certified Addiction Peer Recovery Coach credential,
Community Health Worker/Certified Recovery Specialist certification,
or Community Health Worker/Opioid Workforce Expansion certification.
Southern Indiana Works, in partnership with Tech Louisville, will
prepare you to start a career as an IT Support Professional. This
program is free of cost and will offer classroom
learning, online learning, and mentorship with an experienced
professional. Upon completion of this program, you will earn your
Google IT Support Professional Certificate.
Southern Indiana Works, in partnership with Code Louisville, will
prepare you to start a career as a Software Developer.This program
is free of cost and will offer classroom learning,
online learning, and mentorship with an experienced professional.
Skillful Talent Series
The "Skillful Talent Series" is a four-part virtual series facilitated
by WorkOne where CEO's, Human Resource Professionals,
and Directors will learn how to best hire the right employees.
Each workshop is valid for a total of 1.0 PDC for the SHRM-CP
or SHRM-SCP. Workshops are free to attend.
