Julie Tucker-Toppin
Julie Tucker-Toppin has worked in communications for several years in state government and joined the DOR team in 2018. As the Business Communications Manager, she is responsible for internal and external communications for Project NextDOR, a multi-year modernization of DOR's tax systems. Julie attended Butler University and has a degree in Journalism.

Nancy Tyree
Nancy Tyree manages DOR's Business Outreach program and works with professional organizations, businesses, civic groups and more to provide taxpayer education to Hoosiers. Nancy is an Indiana University graduate who, prior to joining DOR in 2019, also worked in marketing and economic development, as well as coached competitive speech and debate. She’s a member of the Pass the Torch for Women Foundation and the Junior League of Indianapolis.

Gus Pearcy
Gus Pearcy, Communications Specialist, grew up a Hoosier and attended Indiana State University for a communications major. His duties include internal communications for DOR as well as a blogger for the DOR website. He has worked as a marketing coordinator, a graphic designer, public relations and corporate communicator. Most recently, he was a journalist for the Lebanon Reporter. He is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and a volunteer board member of Center Stage Community Theatre in Lebanon. Fun fact: Gus is one of the voices on the interactive voice response system when you call DOR.

Erynn Erwin
Erynn Erwin, Communications Specialist, joined the DOR team in 2021 after working in health care marketing and communications. She has a bachelor’s degree in English Studies, as well as a Secondary English Education licensure from Ball State University, and she is working toward her master’s degree in Management, Strategy, and Leadership from Michigan State University. Erynn is responsible for external communications and social media management.

Patrizia Caporali
Pat Caporali joined DOR in 2019 as a communications specialist to facilitate internal and external communications for Project NextDOR, a multi-year modernization of DOR's tax systems. After graduating from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, with a degree in Communications Studies, her career as a sports reporter was followed by extensive public and media relations experience in motorsports and automotive industries. The Canadian transplant was lured to Indiana by IndyCar Racing and remained for the full Hoosier experience which now includes public service with DOR’s communications team.
