BEACHES: Paynetown and Fairfax SRA beaches are CLOSED for swimming.
BOAT RAMPS: Boat ramps at Cutright SRA, Crooked Creek SRA, Pine Grove SRA are CLOSED. All other boat ramps (Paynetown, Fairfax, Moores Creek, Salt Creek, Allens Creek) remain OPEN. Non-motorized boats (canoes, kayaks, SUPs) are still free to launch at closed ramps (except for Pinegrove, as the entire SRA is closed).
SRAs: The entire area of Cartop SRA and Pine Grove SRA are CLOSED.
MARINAS: Two Herons Marina and Boat Rental at Cutright SRA (private-run) is still open but inaccessible by road.
SHELTERS: Lakeview, Twin Oaks, Paynetown, and Activity Center Shelters at Paynetown SRA and beach shelter at Fairfax SRA are CLOSED. All other shelters remain OPEN for use.
TRAILS: The southwestern portion of the Homestead Loop at Fairfax SRA, the western portion of the Tree Trek Trail at Paynetown SRA, and Osprey Trail at Fairfax SRA are CLOSED. Remaining trails (Big Oak at Fairfax SRA, Turkey Trot at Allens Creek SRA, and Bluebird and Whitetail at Paynetown SRA) are OPEN but there may be fallen trees from recent storms.
PROGRAMS: The Paynetown Activity Center is closed, but naturalist-led programs are available.
FISHING PIERS: The fishing piers at Paynetown and Cutright SRAs are CLOSED.
STILLWATER-NORTHFORK: McGowan Road is CLOSED. Friendship Road is CLOSED from the hunter check station to Gross Road (additional portions may be impacted by flash flooding).
CAMPGROUND: Select campsites are CLOSED. Impacted reservations have been contacted directly by our reservation services. - BLUE-GREEN ALGAE: Found in lakes year round. Don't drink the water. Shower after you swim. More information.
