Tina Sunier of Camby in Morgan County shared this family time photo from Lincoln State Park. The anglers are her grandson, Ethan Sunier of Lebanon, and his cousin, Kellen Mullins of Kokomo, fishing during the annual camping trip to the park. The group hiked from the campground to this spot behind Blue Heron Family Cabins. She used her Fuji FinePix F60. She’s been a subscriber for six years and collects old issues of OI.
A ruby-throated hummingbird is an elusive target for a photographer, let alone the human eye. Jeannie Sorrell of Carthage in Rush County caught this one in a maple tree in her front yard just in time. She found the nest on the ground the next day. She used a Canon EOS Rebel T3 with a 75-300mm lens using automatic settings.
