Monroe County is offering a free service called Monroe County Alert. This system enables us to provide you with critical information quickly in a variety of situations, such as severe weather, unexpected road closures, missing persons and evacuations of buildings or neighborhoods.

You will receive time-sensitive messages wherever you specify, such as your home, mobile or business phone, email address, text messages and more. You pick where, you pick how.

Emergency Preparedness Education

Preparedness University is a comprehensive 6-part training series designed to help individuals, families, and organizations get ready for any emergency. Covering essential topics such as basic preparedness, vehicle readiness, business continuity, power outage response, emergency communications, and kit building, this program equips participants with practical skills, strategies, and resources to stay safe and resilient in any situation.
