Role Overview:
Full-Time Environmental Health Specialist
The Harrison County Health Department is looking for a full-time Environmental Health Specialist. The position will be responsible for conducting on-site inspections, investigating complaints, and enforcing local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
Salary Statement:
This is a full-time position.
Requirements for Success:
--College degree required in environmental science, public health, biology or related field.
--Computer Skills
--Knowledge of Microsoft Office
--Valid Driver's License as incumbent utilizes personal vehicle to travel around County on business with mileage reimbursement.
Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:
There is no supervisory responsibility with the position. The position reports to Danny Schroeder of the Environmental Health Department.
Work Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
