Location

West Noble School Corporation is located on the western side of Noble County, approximately 40 miles northwest of Fort Wayne, 20 miles southeast of Goshen and 25 miles northeast of Warsaw. West Noble is a center of diversity with a rich blend of Amish and Latino students.

West Noble Schools have four school buildings. The Primary building is located in Ligonier. The other buildings are located on a beautiful campus setting two miles south of Ligonier. West Noble also has an off-site alternative school. With over 50% of students Latino, West Noble has implemented an extensive and effective EL program to serve the highest English learner population in the state. All four of the schools use the Eight Step Process for continuous improvement and have successful RTI programs. Leslie Ballard, executive director of Advanced Education Accreditation, described the West Noble RTI program as the best she has seen.

The West Noble staff prides themselves in leading the way with curricular improvements. Enhanced with a one of a kind beginning-teacher mentoring program, the staff has made great strides of improvement using researched based instructional strategies. West Noble School Corporation is fiscally sound. The West Noble community has strong family values. Several of the staff members have been honored by the community and by state organizations for their excellent service to our students. The community gives generous support to the schools through numerous grants and partnerships.

West Noble High School seeks to educate and empower students to be active citizens in our ever-changing world. Using their 1:1 initiative, the high school is revitalizing teaching and learning using a blend of peer observations and teacher led, shared learning experiences.

  • 44 dual college credits through 4 institutions and 3 AP course offerings
  • 63 elective courses
  • 15 vocational programs through two vocational co- ops with Welding being housed at WNHS.  Students have the ability to earn at least 6 dual credits per program.  Five programs offer state or national certifications
  • Joint partnership with Freedom Academy/Impact housing adult education classes

West Noble Middle School is a vibrant, ever-improving learning community which prides itself on providing engaging, student-centered programming. Through curricular changes and a commitment to effective instructional strategies, WNMS has improved and strives to continuously improve.  Strengths of the middle school program include:

The vision of West Noble Elementary is that all students will believe in themselves, reach their highest potential, and be ready for college and a career. Our staff provides students with challenging, differentiated learning experiences that help our students be successful and grow academically and socially. Students receive a well rounded education by participating in weekly music, art, physical education, media, and character education classes. Students also develop leadership skills through the Student Council.
