Dark Blue Tiles correlate with data points that pertain to leveraging the power of place to grow the population of the community and region.

 

Yellow Tiles correlate with data points that pertain to building a homegrown learning system to cultivate talent and increase educational attainment.

 

Light Blue Tiles correlate with data points that pertain to coordinating talent with equitable economic opportunities to raise household income and earnings.

 

There are three map types to choose from the dropdown:

  1. County Map” – Allows you to select one county, groups of counties or all counties.
    1. Tiles will update to reflect the area selected.
    2. Hover over a data point for the comparison of the county/counties selected in comparison to the state as a whole. This will also provide how often the metric is measured, is available and the “as of” date for the data set.
  2. "Highlight Counties" – Highlights counties of interest in purple based on your entries for the metric / inequality / value input. Input a metric, the inequality and a value that is appropriate for your metric, but do not include symbols ($, %, etc.)
    1. Educational Attainment (%)
    2. Median Household Income ($)
    3. Unemployment Rate (%)
    4. 2050 Population Growth Projection (%)
    5. Households with Computing Devices (%)
  3. "Heat Map" – Displays a heat map based on one of the five metrics where the higher the number, the darker the shade of orange. Choose the metric from the drop-down list only:
    1. Educational Attainment (%)
    2. Median Household Income ($)
    3. Unemployment Rate (%)
    4. 2050 Population Growth Projection (%)
    5. Households with Computing Devices (%)
