Arts Trust License Plate
By purchasing an Indiana Arts Trust license plate you're making an investment in the Indiana Cultural Trust Fund, a long-term endowment that sustains the arts for future generations of Hoosiers.
The Cultural Trust is currently providing support to the Indiana Arts Commission’s Partnering Arts, Community, and Education (PACE) arts integration research program which is establishing a model for elementary schools and artists / arts organizations to achieve long-term, in-depth, and sustainable partnerships in the classroom. PACE matches teaching artists with classrooms for focused, year-long arts experiences aligning with academic curriculum, and integrated into classroom literacy activities.
Recent data collected indicates arts integration helps improve student attitudes and may be positively influencing literacy development. PACE research is ongoing and expanding into three new schools this year for a total of nine partnerships statewide that are impacting 771 students at critical stages of academic development. We applaud you for playing a significant role in this groundbreaking initiative.

The Cultural Trust Fund was created through legislative action in 1997, establishing a vehicle with which the Indiana Arts Commission can enhance the funding, encouraging, promoting, and expanding of the arts in Indiana through financial resources outside the agency's biennial budget. The Cultural Trust Fund is a proactive means of ensuring future financial support to Hoosier communities to enhance cultural resources for the benefit of their citizens. Moneys generated through the fund are used to augment, not replace, appropriations from the Indiana General Assembly to the IAC.
