Experience historic Vincennes
Start your trip in Vincennes with a visit to the Indiana Military Museum . the museum has displays of vintage vehicles, weaponry, uniforms and artifacts from the Civil War, World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam and Desert Storm.

Next, take a tour of Grouseland . The home of William Henry Harrison, then governor of the Indiana territory and a major figure in the War of 1812. Later Harrison became the ninth president of the United States.

The George Rogers Clark National Historical Park  commemorates the conquest of the Old Northwest Territory. It is located on the site of the former Fort Sackville, which was once a British outpost captured by Colonel George Rogers Clark in the American Revolutionary War.

Visit Fort Knox II , originally built in 1803, the fort's grounds are diagramed with posts and interpretive markers mark the fort structure and tell the story of the site.

Plan your stay over Memorial Day weekend to catch the Spirit of Vincennes Rendezvous . Step back in time and experience Revolutionary Era food, battle enactments and early frontier skills demonstrations.

Head south for one-of-a-kind living history
Travel an hour south to Evansville, where the only operational World War II landing ship tank exists. Tours of LST325 are led by dedicated crewmembers, some who have served on Landing Ship Tanks.
