Fair Fun
Visit all the classic fair spots to get into the spirit of summertime in Indiana. As the Year of the Dairy Cow, special themed events and displays can be found all around the grounds celebrating Indiana's Dairy industry. You may even see a calf being born or learn to milk a cow.
Take in the many competitions and shows at the Hoosier Lottery Grandstand. Enjoy free stage entertainment daily from entertainers like Easton Corbin, REO Speedwagon and MC Hammer. The Indiana State Fair is also hosting big name entertainers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, including Barry Manilow, Journey, Train and Blake Shelton.
Taste Hoosier country at the Dupont Food Pavilion. This new food pavilion will wow fairgoers with cooking demos and free food tastings daily. The pavilion is designed to exhibit the best of the Hoosier state. Discover Italy in the International Pavilion. Filled with classic tastes and fun cultural ties between Indiana and Italy, the pavilion won't disappoint. You can even challenge friends to a round of bocce ball, an italian original.
At the Pioneer Village take in the sights, sounds and smells of Indiana's living history experience. Talk with the homesteaders to learn about their farms and help with the chores.
Rides at the Midway are a staple of a fun day at the fair. Traditional fair rides will entertain for hours.
Great discounts
are to be had, too. Free or discounted admission into the Fair and $2 Tuesdays make enjoying the state fair affordable.
