Schenck Mansion Bed & Breakfast Inn

The exquisite Schenck Mansion B&B is a 35-room mansion built in 1874 by Benjamin Franklin Schenck. Overlooking the historic town of Vevay, the home once belonged to the son of a wealthy "hay king" of the steamboat era. Listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, the structure was restored in 1998 by Jerry & Lisa Fisher and has been featured in Midwest Living Magazine. Step back in time as you lounge in luxury in one of its three guest rooms with private baths or one of two private suites. Air conditioning, television and king or queen size beds with luxury linens adorn the tastefully decorated rooms. A full breakfast is included in the room rate. Antiques, reproductions and its original copper bathtubs are just a few of the unique features. Relax outdoors on the porch overlooking the Schenck's beautifully landscaped grounds with a picturesque gazebo. The mansion is available for indoor or outdoor meetings or can be used as a backdrop for a special dream wedding. Available for small group tours with advance notice.
