This hidden gem in Hendricks County just off the historic courthouse square brings home cooked favorites to your table six days a week. For the fall they have two specialty pies to mention. The Harvest Moon Pie showcases the flaky pastry crust filled with crisp apples, cranberries, apricots, and Autumn spice. The delectable dessert is then topped with a pastry crust and ginger glaze. Another fall favorite is the Upside-Down Apple Pecan Pie. Sweet and buttery brown sugar glaze, whole pecans, and homemade pastry crust line the bottom of a pie plate; then they pile on apples and cinnamon sugar and top with a pastry crust to bake. After baking to golden perfection, the pie is turned upside down, making for a fun and delicious twist to a traditional fall favorite.
