Fear Factory, southeastern Indiana’s scariest haunted house, will open for tours every weekend in October. Caution - once you enter, your dreams will be haunted for many nights. Once home to the Batesville Coffin Company, now home to your worst nightmare. Fear Factory, located in the old, historic RomWeber Furniture manufacturing facility, has tripled in size to nearly 30,000 sq. ft. with new exhibits and mazes filled with horror. But we have kept the price just $5.00 for those 18 years of age and younger, all others are $10 per person. Fear Factory benefits Cierra’s Club, a foundation founded by Karen Adams and managed by the Batesville Community Education Foundation. Karen's daughter, Cierra, died from a drug overdose on July 16, 2011, her 18th birthday. Proceeds from the Haunted House are used to provide fun, drug-free entertainment choices for the youth of our community. Oldenburg Academy’s OASIS group will be offering concessions in the Fright Bite Café. George & Tony’s Arcades will have free arcade games. A special lights-on tour will be held the opening Sunday for younger kids.
