Gibson County Fair

The 159th Annual Gibson County Fair is one of the oldest fairs in the state. What started in 1851 has evolved into a week packed full of family fun. Our major events include Motocross, Hog Wrestling, the LUCAS Oil Tractor Pull, Truck Pulls, a Demo Derby, a music concert and a huge 4-H show and displays. Come enjoy our carnival along with fair treats of all kinds. Our variety of food will make your mouth water, ranging from fair fish, taffy, BBQ, funnel cakes, homemade ice cream and an old time favorite, the hokey pokey. The Merchants Buildings provide a place for local businesses to sell their novelties and spread the word about their services. Most importantly the Gibson County Fair provides an experience for the whole family at an affordable price. Price of admission includes admission to most all grandstand events and ride arm bands are available. Come on out and experience the FUN of Gibson County! In Concert Friday night, July 11th! The SWON Brothers! Brothers Zach and Colton Swon were finalists on Blake Shelton’s team in Season Four of NBC’s The Voice.
