Vevay Main Street First Friday features local art, free carriage rides (weather permitting), late night shopping, dining, and store specials. In the warmer months the downtown comes alive with live sidewalk entertainment. Join the Switzerland County Visitors Center at 128 West Main Street for various activities during First Fridays. The event is held monthly from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.

For 2014: January 3, Mardi Gras; February 7, I Love Vevay; March 7, American Pie; April 4, Hats off to Spring; May 2, Lemonade Day; June 6, First Fred-Day; July 4, Red, White & Blues; August 1, Bubblepalooze; September 5, Chalk the Walk; October 3, World Smile Day; November 7, Loco for Cocoa; and December 5, Mingle & Jingle.
