SHUBAEL LITTLE PIONEER VILLAGE OPEN HOUSE

Shubael Little Pioneer Village was founded in 2000 with the dedication of the Hilton Cabin. Three additional cabins have been added- James Falls Cabin, Adam Shoemaker Cabin and the Homer Hull Carter Cabin. In addition, the outdoor Lambert Rogier "Beehive" oven and the Edgar Carter Blacksmith Shop and Forge were rebuilt to working order. A carpenter shop, sheep pen and the Troy Stone Jail have also been located on the site. There are more cabins to be rebuilt and the Oriole Methodist Church is waiting to be relocated. **October 19, 20 – SHUBAEL LITTLE PIONEER VILLAGE – Fireplace cooking, candle making, spinning & weaving, a mercantile. Live music & blacksmithing will be demonstrated. The Millstone, one room school, is now on site at the Village & a Mercantile is currently under construction.
