Celebrate our Swiss heritage with us the last weekend of July. Berne's historic downtown is overtaken with sights of artists and craftsmen selling their wares and smells of fresh food being prepared. The sounds of alpine music streams from the downtown stage where tables and chairs under a big top provide shade from hot days. There amusement rides give way to children laughing and squealing with delight. Homemade ice cream, apple dumplings, BBQ chicken and so much more. Activities include Berne's God Talent Competition, Stein Toss, Big Wheel Race for young riders, Pedal Tractor Pull, Old Fashion Hymn Sing, and hours of strolling and enjoying!
New this year is Tower JAM-Fest at Muensterberg Plaza Saturday night. Three local bands will perform a free concert. Band: Rocky Evans, Nothing Wrong with Daisy & Sweetspot. Concert beings at 7:30 p.m.
Downtown Stage performers include: Hank Haller Ensemble, Ken & Mary Turbo Accordions, The Original Alpine Express, and Conley-Schmidt.
