This family-friendly art tour is located 20 miles southeast of Fort Wayne in Decatur, Indiana. Twelve original sculptures line city streets and business windows in a historic downtown setting. Decatur is the birthplace of artist David Roland Smith (1906) who is widely considered to be the founder of the modern art sculpture movement in the United States. Also born in Decatur was Ralph Hurst (1918), another renowned and prolific sculptor with three pieces on display at the Adams County Public Library.
