The Living Pioneer Farmstead features a working blacksmith shop, pioneer homestead, tomahawk throwing and pioneer demonstrations of all kinds. Join us for a day in the life of a pioneer. The main feature of this event is a tour of the nationally unique 1850 haypress, which is run by oxen. The haypress tour takes place from 1:00pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 26th. Followed by a "meet and greet" with Forest and Gump, our short-horned oxen. Bring your camera and get your photo taken with them. All activities will take place if weather and road conditions are permitting. Please call in advance if road conditions are questionable. Regular gate entrance fees apply. O’Bannon Woods State Park is located 10 miles west of Corydon, Indiana on Hwy. 462, off State Highway 62.
