Race into Central Indiana
July 25-27, 2008
If motorsports is your thing, then this trip is perfect for you. Spend an entire weekend experiencing what Indiana is known for – racing!
|
Day One
Enjoy dinner in
Historic Downtown Danville at the
Mayberry Café. This local favorite is a tribute to the Andy Griffith Show. Dinner consists of great food and a fun atmosphere. The walls are adorned with Andy Griffith Show memorabilia and your favorite episodes are playing in the background. And don’t miss the chance to pose with the Mayberry squad car!
After dinner head to
O'Reilly Raceway Park to kick off an exciting three-day weekend with the International Armed Forces 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Race.
|
|
Day Two
Head to Speedway - the home of the famous
Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum is a great way to spend the morning before taking in the practice action of
NASCAR’s Allstate 400® at the Brickyard. The museum offers a good time for everyone and you will even have the chance to have your picture taken inside of a race car as a keepsake.
After practice and the pole is set, head back to
O'Reilly Raceway Park for the final event of the annual
Kroger SpeedFest - the Kroger 200, a NASCAR Nationwide Series event. Enjoy 200 laps of bumper-to-bumper racing on the short track where there is not a bad seat in the house.
