Day One
Shop ‘til you drop in Historic Downtown Lafayette! The local Uptown Merchants Association shops offer a unique shopping experience specializing in local art work, chic French gifts, antiques, stationary, handmade wearables, chocolates and more.
Come on a Saturday morning May through October and check out the local Farmer’s Market. It’s known to be one of Indiana’s oldest continuously running markets. Tour the town via trolley, offering guided tours available May through August.
In Battle Ground howl with the wolves at Wolf Park. This unique education and research park allows visitors an up-close and personal interaction with wolves, coyotes and buffalo. If you are in the area on a Friday or Saturday night the Howl Night program is a unique treat.

Day Two
Head back to Battle Ground to the Battle of Tippecanoe Battleground and Museum. Explore the actual battlefield and the museum, which depicts the events that occurred around this historic 1811 event.
While here, hike the Wabash Heritage Trail. This thirteen-mile trail begins at the battlefield runs along the Wabash River through Lafayette to Fort Ouiatenon, the site of a mid-1700 French trading post. Fort Ouiatenon is now a quaint park that hosts many festival and events, the most prominent being the Feast of the Hunters' Moon, held annually in September.
