Day One
Start your day in Bloomington which is hometown to Indiana University. Established in 1824 as the first college
west of the Allegheny Mountains, Indiana University has transformed over the years
from an outpost of knowledge in the wilderness to a vibrant center of learning for
students from all cultures and backgrounds. Start your tour (guided or not) at the
IU Visitor Information Center.
Grab lunch at the Fourwinds Resort & Marina. Then sail, swim or fish Lake Monroe,
Indiana's largest man-made lake. Overnight accommodations are available.
Cheer on the Hoosiers at Assembly Hall or applaud a theatre performance at Indiana
University Auditorium.
Day Two
Head to Bedford and tour Bluespring Caverns Park. Take the Myst'ry River Voyage
and discover the mysteries that lie underground.
Luncheon at Spring Mill State Park near Mitchell. Then take advantage of the park's
amenities hiking trails, saddle barn, cave tours and more. Overnight accommodations
are available.
