Hoosier Hysteria
Beware, Hoosier Hysteria is contagious! You just might catch it after this excitement-packed trip including the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame, the NCAA Hall of Champtions and several museums.
Day One
Begin your day at the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in New Castle. Celebrate
the rich history of Indiana basketball with game films, photographs and
artifacts.
Visit the Knightstown High School Gym which was built in 1921. This historic
landmark hit national fame when showcased as the home gym for the 1985 movie
Hoosiers.
Take the scenic route to Indianapolis. Drive the historic
National Road (U.S. 40).
Day Two
Head to Indianapolis and the headquarters of the NCAA. Visit the NCAA Hall of
Champions, an interactive multimedia presentation that honors the competitive
spirit of our nation's best college athletes.
Enjoy lunch at the L.S.Aryes Tea Room in the Indiana State Museum this replica
of the famous L.S.Aryes Department Store Tea Room serves up the original recipe
Chicken Velvet Soup.
Then spend the afternoon exploring the museum. Explore the past, present and
future of our Hoosier roots.
