Northern Indiana Fun for Everyone!

This long weekend trip showcases Northern Indiana's culture.

dunes Day One
Start your day near Chesterton at Dunes Nature Preserve located in Indiana Dunes State Park. Take a guided tour through the preserve or simply enjoy the beach with a picnic lunch.

Then head to Michigan City to shop the day away at Lighthouse Place Premium Outlets. Enjoy this upscale outlet mall featuring more than 120 shops

Day Two
Begin in South Bend at the University of Notre Dame, home of the world famous Fighting Irish. Tours offer a historical overview of campus life and include highlights such as Basilica of the Sacred Heart, the "Golden Dome" and "Touchdown Jesus".

Visit the South Bend Chocolate Company Factory and Museum. Take the "Inside Scoop" tour of the museum and see one of the world's largest chocolate collections. You'll also get a taste or two!

If you're a college football fan you don't want to miss the College Football Hall of Fame. Designed to put you in the middle of it all, you'll see the sport from every angle of a game. Be the player, the coach, the spectator and the broadcaster all at once.

Day Three
Head south to visit Amish Acres in Nappanee. Tour this restored 80-acre Old Order Amish farmstead and learn about this 300 year-old culture still thriving in America today. Stay for dinner and enjoy their famous Amish Threshers dinner - a hearty family-style meal of hearth-baked bread, fried chicken, cider baked ham, Indiana turkey and more.
