Wild Buffalo, Wine and Windmills

Enjoy wildlife, award-winning wines and wilderness on this great getaway.

Day One
Wild Wind Buffalo Reserve in Fremont is open year-around and home to approximately 200 bison. Take a tour to see the bison up close!

Sample some wine at Satek Winery located in Fremont. Nearly 80 percent of their wines are awarded medals in the third largest wine competition in the United States.

Potawatomi Inn at Pokagon State Park
Stay overnight at the Potawatomi Inn at Pokagon State Park near Angola. Before you leave, make sure to visit the nature center and take advantage of the bike trails and boat tours. In the winter, you can even try out the toboggan slide!

Day Two
Head south to Albion to visit exotic animals of all varieties at Black Pine Animal Park. Experience one of the daily tours and visit the gift shop.

In Kendallville, you’ll find Indiana’s farming history come to life. At the Mid-America Windmill Museum more than 20 restored windmills are on display.
