Seitan Tenderloin
Upland Brewing Co.
Vegetarians can enjoy the Hoosier classic with this patty made from locally sourced seitan (wheat-gluten product), dressed in classic style.
Even vegetarians can enjoy the quintessential Hoosier sandwich thanks to this meat-free version of the pork classic. The brewery purchases ingredients for the seitan (a wheat-gluten product) from local co-op Bloomingfoods Market and Deli and then forms and bakes it in-house, resulting in a patty with a strong resemblance to the real thing. Dressed with lettuce, tomato and onion with a pickle spear, it is a super-satisfying replica. Pair it with the housemade potato salad or steak fries and one of the brewery's fresh-made beers. ($7.95)
