Mallow Run Winery, Bargersville

A hayloft like you’ve never seen before

Named for a stream that winds through the family farm on its way to the White River, Mallow Run Winery grows several varieties of grapes on eight acres devoted to the vines. The stream is named for George Mallow, who settled the farm in 1835 and built the barn that houses the tasting room in its hayloft. When you walk in the tasting room, you’ll feel a connection to the artisans of the past as you see hand-hewn beams overhead. You’re invited to stroll the vineyards, where eight varieties of American and French hybrid grapes are growing.

George was the great-great-great grandfather of the winery’s co-owner, Bill Richardson. He and wife Laura share a love of music, wine and the farm, so it’s no surprise that they regularly schedule special events with live music at the winery.
