Visit Historic Fort Ouiatenon Park on the banks of the Wabash River for Feast of the Hunters’ Moon, a recreation of the annual fall gathering of the French and Native Americans that took place near this fur-trading outpost in the mid-1700s. Thousands of people gather to reenact the event. Watch artisans demonstrate crafts using only 18th century materials and methods. Try traditional food favorites like fry bread, forfar bridies and buffalo. Shop for trade goods such as period clothing, toys, leather, pewter and woven goods. Enjoy entertainment such as French and Native American music and dance, fife and drum corps performances, military drills, fashion shows and puppet shows.
