I'm fortunate enough to live right by Broad Ripple - one of Indy's six cultural districts. Many things set Broad Ripple apart and one of those are the many dining choices that are locally-owned and completely delicious.

The other week a friend suggested we meet for lunch at Brugge Brasserie. Great suggestion since it had been a few years.Brugge 1What did I remember and what did I love?? The fries!Brugge 2What make them so delicious? Not only are they tasty all by themselves, but you get your choice of 12 different sauces to go with them! What?!? Crazy, I tell you, but brilliant. I went with the fresh herb pesto and fresh mayonnaise. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

I also got a sandwich - sausage, roasted red peppers, glazed onion, nicoise tapenade and aioli. If you look close enough at the picture above you can see it is hidden under the mountain of fries. I had to eat it with my fork and knife it was so full of yumminess.

I think I may just need to eat out once a week to get through all the great local places within 15 minutes of my house! For now, I'll dream about the fries at Brugge!
