Holiday Happenings in Hamilton County

Getting into the holiday spirit is now easier than ever! This year instead of searching all over for holiday happenings, the Hamilton County Convention & Visitors Bureau has gathered ideas for everything from Santa sightings to gift giving into one place: the 12 Days of Christmas.

The 12 Days of Christmas page is packed with 12 categories of ideas that are all located on the clickable 12 Days of Christmas tree. There’s a bit of everything that will surely bring some cheer to everyone from age 1 to 92.

At Stonycreek Farm’s Country Christmas, you can take a family outing to pick and cut the perfect Christmas tree. Or gather a group of friends and select a holiday performance or theater production to attend. And the season wouldn’t be complete without some shopping and seeing some jaw-dropping holiday light displays.

I’m personally looking forward to sipping some rich hot chocolate and strolling through the new Winter Wonderland walk-through light display in Fishers. Not only is it a brand new display, but there will be Christmas music being played too!

With so many holiday happenings, you may also find yourself a bit sleepy after a day of fun. Luckily, several Hamilton County hotels are offering special deals so you can settle in for a long winter’s nap at a discounted rate.

In addition to all of the great ideas for things to do and see, there are also several opportunities to win prizes (to give as gifts OR keep for yourself)! Click the ‘Enter to Win’ box on the 12 Days of Christmas tree to enter a prize drawing. Or get creative and share some of your own holiday cheer on Instagram. Just tag your holiday photos with #HC12days to enter! Find more details about the contests here.

I hope you have a happy holiday season & 12 Days of Christmas!
