ATTENTION COLLEGE STUDENTS IN THE WEST LAFAYETTE AREA: As you are well aware, finals are around the corner and if you are anything like me going to bed at an early hour isn't likely. After a night of studying the only thing on my mind is food and where can I get it quickly. On a recent trip to Purdue University my friend and I went to a concert that ended around midnight. Since she goes to Purdue, she told me about the perfect place to grab a bite to eat, Rice Café. Located on 128 Pierce Street West Lafayette, IN on Purdue’s campus, Rice Café is open until 4am to fulfill the needs of many insomniacs. The menu offers its customers a variety of Asian dishes such as shrimp fried rice and a local favorite, General Tso’s Chicken. Not only do they have an extensive menu but also you will not have a long wait after ordering your food. The Rice Café prides itself on the quick turn around for their customers because they are aware that the majority of the people dining with them are busy college students. However, if you aren’t in a hurry there are several places to sit and enjoy your food including an upstairs dining section. So the next time you are in the West Lafayette area be sure to consider Rice Café for a late night eating experience!
