Metamora Christmas Walk, Nov. 23 – Dec. 16, 2012

Every weekend between November 23 and December 16, you can visit the Metamora Christmas Walk along the canal in Metamora, Indiana (Franklin County). From 10 am to 10 pm on Friday and Saturdays, and 10 am to 5 pm on Sundays, you can walk along the canals and see the “lanterns (that) line the canal from the mill to the aqueduct and holiday greenery and ribbons swaged throughout the town.”

Have your picture taken with Santa in the Santa house. Listen to the strolling carolers singing holiday tunes. And visit the many unique shops throughout the small southern East Central Indiana town, just south of Connersville on State Road 52. Get warm at the Grist Mill with a coffee or hot cider from the Smelly Gourmet.

The Metamora Christmas Walk has been an Indiana tradition for years and years. The Walk always begins the weekend after Thanksgiving and ends one weekend before Christmas.
