The Indy Jazz Fest is coming up next month, just in time for fall. Because when you think cool weather, you think cool music.
Or at least I do.
The Jazz Fest is a week long festival of, well, jazz music, from straight ahead to smooth jazz, Latin jazz to Funk, featuring some of the best artists in Indiana and from around the U.S.
All events will be held at the Cabaret (Downtown), University of Indianapolis (south side), the Cook Theater at the Indiana Landmark Center (near northside), and, of course, the Jazz Kitchen in Broad Ripple. On the 15th and 16th, outdoor concerts will be held at Opti Park in Broad Ripple as well.
Tickets are available at the Indy Jazz Fest website for single events, a weekend pass, or the IJF Jazz Pass that gets you into every event for $139.
