Indulge in a “No Guilt” Hoosier Momma Cocktail at the Indiana Artisan Marketplace

Have you ever wished for a delicious, low-cal cocktail made from local ingredients that doesn’t make you feel like you’re cheating on your diet? Head to the Indiana Artisan Marketplace March 31 or April 1 and meet Hoosier Momma.

Hoosier Momma is actually three fantastic Indiana women, Erin Edds, KC Cranfill and Cat Hill. In one of my favorite stories of Hoosier hard work and entrepreneurship, these women have built the Hoosier Momma brand from the ground up in just two years and are making it a national phenomenon.

Their story began in Brownsburg in early 2010 with the launch of the Hoosier Momma Bloody Mary Maker, created using all-natural, Indiana products and no gluten, preservatives or high fructose corn syrup—low sodium, too! It’s what I call a “no guilt” cocktail. But besides the health factor, Hoosier Momma ratchets the taste up several notches by using natural, local veggies. Grab a bottle of this mixer and a bottle of vodka and you are ready to entertain friends or treat yourself.

Since the launch of their flagship Bloody Mary product, Hoosier Momma has introduced a second home run product: Spicy Bloody Mary Maker, which adds a kick of aged cayenne and a smoky blend of horseradish to the original recipe for those who like to live on the wild side. The brilliant trio has also spread Hoosier Momma products to more than 600 restaurants, bars, hotels and retail stores in six states.

The Indiana Artisan Marketplace is your chance to try out and take home Hoosier Momma Bloody Mary Makers. It’s also your opportunity to be one of the first to try their new margarita mixes! At the Marketplace, Hoosier Momma will be debuting the 5 oz. Key Lime Margarita Maker and the 5 oz Strawberry Rhubarb Cocktail Maker, each with fewer than 130 calories. As Hoosier Momma products, these mixes also boast local, natural ingredients. So go ahead, indulge. There’s no guilt in these cocktails.
