Agriculture is a big part of Indiana’s economy; the state boasts 61,000 family farms. The bounty of those farms will be center stage on Thursday, March 8 when Indiana’s Family of Farmers will host From Tractor to Truck with the help of six of the tastiest food trucks in Indianapolis.
Hungry lunch-goers should head to the Indiana Government Center along South Senate Avenue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 8, which is National Ag Day. Participating food trucks include:
- Scratch Truck
- Scout’s Treats
- Tacos without Borders
- New York Slice
- West Coast Tacos
- Some of this! Some of that!
In addition to the food truck fare — cooked with Hoosier home-grown ingredients — free dairy products from Prairie Farms and free carrots and apples from Piazza Produce will be available.
