Making Raku Pottery at Spears Gallery in Brown County [VIDEO]

During my stay in Nashville, Indiana (Brown County), we had a chance to visit with Jan Spears of Spears Gallery to learn how to make raku pottery.

I took some video footage of the experience and asked Jan to explain how it all works.

This is what we ended up with. After looking at the models Jan showed us and comparing them to what we ended up with, I’ve decided to forego a career in pottery and stick with writing.
