Follow the Super 46 Sandwiches Trail on Foodspotting (#Super46)

Just a few days ago, we launched a promotion called Super 46 Sandwiches, which we put together with the help of the Publishers of Indianapolis Monthly Magazine. Super 46 Sandwiches is a celebration of some of the best sandwiches Indiana has to offer. With Super Bowl XLVI coming up at the beginning of February, this guide to some of the best sandwiches in Indiana can help you decide where to eat whether you’re just coming to town for the big game or if you’re a life-long Hoosier looking for a taste of something new (like the Pork Po’ Boy below from Papa Roux pictured below).

Indiana's Super 46 Sandwiches trail on FoodspottingFoodspotting is a mobile app (available for iPhone, Android, Windows Phone 7 and coming soon to Blackberry devices) that lets you snap pictures of food you’re eating when you go out to restaurants. You can follow friends  and restaurants (like you can on Twitter or Foursquare), but the unique part of Foodspotting is that you can follow different types of food. So, if your favorite food is a breaded tenderloin sandwich, you can see all the pictures that people have taken of other tenderloins.

Click here to see the Visit Indiana account on Foodspotting, or check out Indiana’s Super 46 Sandwiches trail and see how many of the sandwiches you can eat! You’ll earn the Super 46 Badge by eating and checking in at just three of the restaurants.

Let us know if you’ve tried any of the sandwiches on the Super 46 trail.
