New Day Meadery: Taking it to the Next Level

Taking it to the next level…that is exactly what Brett Canaday and Tia Agnew of New Day Meadery did when they realized that their house was overflowing with wine bottles. Canady and Agnew began as hobbyist beekeepers and they used their extra honey and locally gathered fruits to produce honey wine, otherwise known as mead.

In 2006, Canady and Agnew’s took their passion to the next level. New Day Meadery was established and has been a hit ever since. Currently there are only 60 meaderies in the U.S. New Day Meadery offers many options in their line of fine wine. Whether one enjoys dry or sweet wine, New Day Meadery has options for anyone’s liking. As demand for their wine products continues to increase, the couple has developed new products to include in their line. They also offer ciders and dessert-style meads.

The New Day Meadery has a tasting room located in the heart of the Fountain Square Cultural District in Indianapolis. The tasting room has a sophisticated, yet friendly look to it. I highly recommend New Day Meadery to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable experience – it is a great place for friends to catch up, while trying out a variety of wines. On top of that, New Day Meadery offers events each month. From wine tasting events to special release parties, New Day Meadery is a great source of fun (and wine).

If you are interested in the selections offered at New Day Meadery, check out their website for a full list. Take your friends, family or significant other and allow them to experience and taste fine wine.
