2011 Indianapolis Wine Festival Showcases Wine, Food, Music

The Indianapolis Wine Festival is coming to town Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1 at Military Park from 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm (Friday) and 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm (Saturday).

The day brings together several Indianapolis restaurants that will feature some of their best dishes, including Osteria Pronto, 14 West, Iozzo’s, Weber Grill Restaurant, Sullivan’s Steakhouse, and Ruth’s Chris Steak House
.

Music is by the Lloyd Dobler Effect (Lloyd Dobler was John Cusack’s character in Say Anything. The dude with the boombox over his head.)

Tickets are $27 in advance or $35 at the door.

Tickets include a souvenir wine glass, ten tastings, food and wine seminars, cooking demonstrations, musical entertainment, and the chance to buy discounted wine from the wine vendors.

There is also a Designated Driver Ticket for $10 in advance or at the door.

This ticket includes two non-alcoholic drinks, Festival Program, Food & Wine seminars, cooking demonstrations, musical entertainment, souvenir wine glass upon departure.

This is an adults-only event. No one under the age of 21 will be admitted.
