The Indiana Insider Blog

Did you say FREE?!

Why yes, yes I did.

Museum DayConner Prairie, Indiana’s only Smithsonian affiliate will open it’s doors with free admission on Saturday Sept. 24, 2011 as part of the national Museum Day. This day is meant as a celebration of the dissemination of knowledge to anyone and everyone interested, without a price tag!

This is a great chance for anyone who hasn’t already to experience our new 1863 Civil War Journey: Raid On Indiana. An experience so innovative it has been featured on the New York Times and USA Today.

We’re so excited to share this opportunity with our community.  I hope you and your family are able to join us this Saturday.

To download tickets visit smithsonian.com/museumday. Tickets are good for two people, one ticket per household, per email address.
