49th Annual Amish Acres Arts & Crafts Festival in Nappanee, IN

It’s hard to believe the Amish Acres Arts & Crafts Festival has been going on for as long as it has, but they’re celebrating their 49th annual festival from August 4 – 7 (Thursday through Sunday).

Featuring more than 220 artists and crafters from 30 states, live entertainment on four stages, food, and children’s activities, it’s no wonder the festival has been chosen as one of the Top 200 festivals in the country, and the 8th Top Traditional Crafts Show by Sunshine Artist magazine. THey have also been listed as one of the Top 50 Outstanding Festivals and Events by Leisure Group Travel magazine, and one of the Top 100 Events in North America by the American Bus Association three times in the last 10 years.

It’s easy to see why. According to their website, those 4 days in August will be filled with:

Continuous Entertainment on 3 Stages, Roving Clowns, Medicine Show & Musicians, Square & Line Dancing, Paddle Boats, Cloggers, Festival Foods from Roast Pork to Preaching Pies, Tasty Ice Cream to Sassafras Iced Tea, Amish Acres Tour, Rides, Shops, Famous Family-Style Restaurant, The Round Barn Theatre Showing Plain and Fancy, and Ring of Fire. Old time music fills the main stage while kids ride the swan paddle boats on the pond.
