August is the perfect month for some hot jazz, and Lafayette, Indiana (Tippecanoe County) is the place where it’s happening.
The 7th Annual Uptown Jazz & Blues Festival takes place on Saturday, August 27, from 5:00 to midnight, on the corner of Main Street and 5th Street in downtown Lafayette.
They’ll be serving food from local restaurants, as well as domestic and imported beers and wines.
Tickets are $8 in advance for adults and $12 at the gate. Children 10 and under are $5 in advance or at the gate. And the babes-in-arms (not the ones ON your arm) are free. Tickets are available at all Lafayette, Bank & Trust Locations, and the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce.
