Uptown Jazz & Blues Festival in Lafayette, IN, August 27, 2011

August is the perfect month for some hot jazz, and Lafayette, Indiana (Tippecanoe County) is the place where it’s happening.

The 7th Annual Uptown Jazz & Blues Festival takes place on Saturday, August 27, from 5:00 to midnight, on the corner of Main Street and 5th Street in downtown Lafayette.Blind Boy and The CNI Dogs

They’ll be serving food from local restaurants, as well as domestic and imported beers and wines.

Tickets are $8 in advance for adults and $12 at the gate. Children 10 and under are $5 in advance or at the gate. And the babes-in-arms (not the ones ON your arm) are free. Tickets are available at all Lafayette, Bank & Trust Locations, and the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce.
