Record Store Day celebration at Indy’s own Luna Music

This Saturday there is only one place in town to listen to great local music, shop for handmade goods and load up on all the newest music by your favorite artists, yes folks, its RECORD STORE DAY! Record Store Day is a fairly new concept that was created to celebrate music. The day-long festival brings together fans, artists and over 700 independently owned record stores in the United States along with stores all over the world! This year, Indy’s own Luna Music will be hosting the biggest Record Store Day party in town starting at noon this Saturday, April 16th! The following amazing local bands will be performing:

Luna Music hosts Record Store Day

12pm – Divine Time

1pm – The Kemps

2pm –  Brad Real

3pm – Vacation Club

4pm – Oreo Jones

5pm – Beta Male

Indy’s newest golden children, We Are Hex, will take the stage at 6pm! Come see them before they get famous!  If incredible free music isn’t enough to get you over to 52nd and college, then the cheap vinyl, $1 cd’s and amazing handmade goods should do the trick (I even heard that a unicorn might show up?). And for 21+ crowd out there, Luna Music will also have a 1-day liquor license so you can peruse while enjoying your favorite Upland Brewing Co. beer.

This event is FREE and for all ages, so everyone is invited. So there really aren’t any excuses for you not come. See you there!
