Christmas on the Farm at Traders Point Creamery

Traders Point Creamery, all dressed up for Christmas

It’s very easy this time of year to get caught up in the shopping, the decorating, the party-hopping, and the overall stress of the season. It’s important to stop, take a deep breath, and remember a simpler time. Fortunately, there’s a beautiful place on the northwest side of Indianapolis to relish life on the farm–Traders Point Creamery in Zionsville.

This Saturday and next (December 11 and 18), you can take in the beauty of this farm, all decorated for the holidays, with your whole family for their Christmas on the Farm event. Santa will be paying a visit, there will be crafts, a Green Market with lots of gift ideas, and of course, the delicious products that the Creamery offers.

On a recent visit, I sampled the yogurt, some cheese, the eggnog and chocolate milk, as well as a delicious spread of tapas from their restaurant, The Loft. I could have spent hours there, eating the delicious, healthy, straight-off-the-farm products they offer and visiting with the cows. Traders Point Creamery is committed to organic farming, and go to great lengths to use only the most healthy, sustainable farming practices possible.

So if you need a break from the long lines at the mall, consider instead taking a drive out to the farm.
