I love trains. One thing Indiana is blessed with are two heritage train lines – the more well known White River Vallery Railway and now the new Spirit of Jasper.
From the Depot in Jasper, Indiana you have the option of taking the train to French Lick, Indiana for a night of fun on the town or riding the Ride & Dine featuring fine dining in a classical setting.
You can ride in style on three beautifully renovated, climate-controlled lounge cars complete with restrooms and comfortable seating.
The Jasper to French Lick express spends the evening whisking people away to the Casino in French Lick, returning them back to Jasper at the end of the night.
The Ride & Dine features a meal and beverage catered by the Schnitzelbank, a locally owned authentic German restaurant, and a cash bar. The train rides up to Dubois then returns to Jasper at the end of the evening.
