
I told you that the greenspaces at White River State Park are versatile and often play host to a wide variety of activities. This weekend’s Family Fun Day in the Park, part of the Park’s Free Family Arts Series, will feature a performance by Jasmine, winner of Radio Disney’s 2009 “Next Big Thing” contest.
From noon to 4pm on Saturday, June 26, the entire family can enjoy:
- The Children Museum of Indianapolis’ new exhibit “Rock Stars, Cars & Guitars”
- A pet a shark in the Newport Aquarium’s portable shark petting tank
- A chance to win $529 towards a CollegeChoice Savings Plan for your child’s higher education
- Hula Hoop for Hope with Shepherd Community Center
- An obstacle course provided by Velocity Sports Performance
- Performances by Jasmine, the Praise Pandemic Steel Pan Orchestra, Indianapolis Children’s Choir, Tony Hoard & Rockin’ Rory, YoYo Master: Noel Kunz, and much more
